Gwenllian' studied music at Jesus College, Oxford University, completing her academic training at the Royal Academy of Music, and the Guildhall.

Chamber music plays a very important part in Gwenllian's career. She is a member of the Aurora Wind Quintet who have given recitals to critical acclaim at many major British venues, including the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, St David's Hall, at most of the leading British Festivals and have broadcast several times on Radio 3.

These players are a superb team, brilliantly accomplished, and I long to hear more of them' Financial Times; 'an enthralling interpretation'; Guardian 'complete professionalism - tight, witty, beautifully balanced and cleverly phrased'; Independent on Sunday.

Gwenllian is also a member of the Celtica Oboe and Harp Duo whose performances include the Ripon International Festival, The Warehouse, St David's Hall, Fishguard, Swansea, Ryedale, Vale of Glamorgan, and Northern Aldeburgh Festivals. New works have been commissioned for the duo by Huw Watkins, Enid Luff, Mervyn Burtch

The Aurora also run their own chamber music courses for Benslow Music Trust and Hawkwood College, Stroud and have their own education project Sounds Exciting

Amongst others, Gwenllian has played with the BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Welsh National Opera Orchestra
